Trent District Community First Responders
Trent District Community First Responders is an organisation of approximately 20 volunteers who respond to 999 emergency ambulance calls as volunteers. Many complete this life saving work in addition to their own jobs and raising their families to give something back to their local communities and NHS.
We are based at West Bridgford Fire & Police Station where our dedicated responder vehicle is housed – we are grateful to Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service who provide these facilities to us at no cost to our small charity.
We also complete monthly training sessions and our annual EMAS requalification at the station.
The Trustees
Our charity is governed in accordance with the requirements of the Charity Commission. We have three trustees who fulfil the statutory roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. One Trustee acts as the scheme’s coordinator and is the primary liaison with our partners at East Midlands Ambulance Service.
